Hello,

After using Cubase LE5 for a few weeks (on a PC Vista), the graphical equalization window is no more available via clicking on "e".

I have tested the following solutions without result :

- delete presets files;
- desinstallation and new installation of the program.

Do you have any idea to find back the graphical function ?

Truely yours.

What exactly happens when you click on the "e" button? Maybe Cubase does open the channel window (what you call graphical equalization window) but it is out of the view of your monitor. It can happen sometimes. If that is the case, try changing resolution on your monitor to different settings while Cubase is running.

Thank you for your answer.

I use a laptop 15'', the actual resolution is the optimal resolution. So nothing to seek on this side...

When I click on "e", the "Inspector" panel appears on the left side, but not the graphical presentation of the equalizer.

Is there anything special to obtain this graphic ?

Nevermind the optimal resolution... just try changing it to something smaller while Cubase is running, like 800x600 and quit Cubase. Then return to native resolution, start up Cubase and see if it helped.

I did like you said but the problem is still there.

Strange...

Sorry to hear that.. maybe someone else has another solution...

I cant find a way to make the eq 'not' come up. Also sounds to me like it is off screen.

Hello everyone,

Problem resolved.

Someone advise me to open an old file (.cpr) that was used when the function was operational.

Then I had to scroll down the main screen very significantly. The window with the graphical equalizer was located anormaly far below the normal position.

When you find the EQ, right click on the top of the box and check "always on top". That should keep it from getting buried.
