Please help, I am with my band trying to record, and all of a sudden cubase le will only let me activate 4 inputs. I was previously able to use all ten of my firepods inputs

Did you upgrade LE, or do a different install? I know this was changed in the past, they limited the # of inputs.

I was previously using LE Version 1.07, and I was able to use all ten of the firepods inputs at the same time. I upgraded to 1.08 and this is what happens, thanks alot! what's the point in having ten inputs in the firepod, I might as well dust off the tascam 4 track.

So if the second set of specifics applies, version 1.08 should provide 8 inputs. This doesn't appear to be the case.

With regards to the setup, cubase recognizes all ten inputs, when trying to arm more thatn four inputs an error message pops up and says "Cubase LE supports max. 4 inputs"

I did a complete uninstall of LE and then rreinstalled the older version(1.07). I am pleased to say that I was able to arm all inputs successfully.

Cool - sorry I pointed you to an older document. Glad you kept trying.

Yep

I've posted this in a number of threads in this forum. 1.07 and 1.09 (the newest version) will allow at least 8 simultaneous inputs - 1.08 was limited to 4. I was also very disillusioned as LE is bundled with a lot of hardware - much of which is capable of 8-10 inputs. Just doesn't make sense to buy something when the software provided does not support the full capability of the product.

Luckily for me, Presonus has fabulous customer support and they helped me get a version of SE...no issues with two Firepods now.

With the 1.07 version supplied with my Tascam FW-1804 I can activate 16 inputs and probably the other 2 as well, although I havent tried recording on them all simultaniously yet
