Cubase LE . . . Compression?

Does Cubase LE come with a compression feature? Surely it must. . . . .What's noise gate?
 
The compressor is part of the plug called "VST Dynamics". Noise gate is just that, a noise gate:)
 
It takes any VST plugin.... so you can add any free compressor you want.

Go to www.kvraudio.com and search the freebiees.

Doesn't matter what it comes with when there are so many alternatives.
 
where do i put them?

after i download plugins from that site what do i do with them? where do i put them?

You'll need to place them in the VST Effects folder upon unzipping. On a PC, this should be in C-->Program Files-->Steinberg-->Cubase-->VST Effects

awesome! i guess i can go ahead and put them in different folders within the VST effects folder according to their uses.

are there any particular plugins that everyone should have?
