Cubase LE 4 always crashes before I can save

Hi,

I have an important problem with my Cubase LE 4 program. Every time I'm recording and press "stop" to save my track, the program freezes and shuts down. I am never able to save anything before it crashes.

I have updated Cubase LE 4.

This is my system information: Windows XP Professionnal
Processor: Intel Core 2 CPU 2.00Hz
Memory: 2046 MB

Is there a solution to this problem?

This is what led me to switching from Cubase to another DAW (it was Cubase LE 4 as well).

I had no idea what it was. I'm sorry I can't help and I wish you the best.

I may be a bit late here, but did you do the update, and the Hotfix update in the correct order? They must be done in the right order, as specified on the Steiny site.

Even then, LE4 was a buggy mess. I upgraded to 5, and haven't had a problem since. C7 now, and a happy camper.
