Cubase impossible!

I bought a Tascam 122 interface that came with Cubase LE. The intereface is completely set up but I have absolutley no idea whats what when using cubase. I can't even get the figure out how to record using the interface. Anyone know where I can learn or what I should do to be any less confused?

here's a good place, do you have any specific questions? Also there should be a help file and some tutorials? I'm not sure, I've never used LE so I don't know what all comes on the cd. Other than that, maybe steinberg's site...

The best thing you can do is read the manual. Then read it again, and again and again. Eventually it will start to sink in. I kid you not!

First state for yourself what you want to do. Then think up the term that is used for that, and search for it in the manual. That's basicly how I learned it.

Remember that LE is just a 70-80% subset of SL/SX.

Books like "Cubase SX/SL Power" by Robert Guerin are VERY useful...

ya dude

press f5, you should see vst inputs, make sure all your "ins" are highlighted. thats what i did to get my device to work. also go in device manager and change settigns so it reads the main audio device as your tascam.. hope that helps bud
