I'm a bit of a newbie. I've been running cubase for a while with a tascam fw -1884. I recently tried to launch giga studio. Once a get it installed and try to launch i get a quick blue screen with a warning, but don't have time to read it before my computer restarts automatically. I then try to launch only cubase and get the same effect.Once I uninstall GS then cubase will launch again without any problems. I have read that I am supposed to get a GSIF compatible sound card , however I also read that there is a way to launch GS without the sound card by way of rewire mode. I'm kind of green to all this, can someone out there give me a clue to what i should do. Any help would be greatly apreciated. thank you

your running into giga driver incompatability issues... iv'e got a lite version i cant use and ocassionally i get BSOD when it recovers it asks if i want to disable drivers for giga...

I got a version of gig studio bundled with my Tascam US 122 and the archaic Cubasis. It caused alot of crashes and I decided it wasn't worth it. I didn't even know what it was then, still kinda hazy.....VSTis right?

Not sure what the heck is going on like i said I can't even launch my cubase once i have GS3 installed. think i'm just gonna abandon it and go buy FL studio

I must be doing something wrong

My GS3 came with my cubase so i kinow someone else is having this problem. For some reason there is no rewire device in my cubase. man this is frustrating

Gigastudio does not work well with other audio apps installed. When one of my clients HAS to use giga, I tell them to dedicate an entire computer just for it or find something better to use.
