cubase getting started

i am trying to record into cubase LE using my tascam us-122. it does not record anything though when i click record. the us-122 works fine with adobe audition once i set it as the recording device but i can not seem to find anything like that on cubase. any advice on getting it up and running?

Make sure that the US122 is set up as your ASIO VST multitrak device(under device manager), create an audio channel (mono or stereo) select the correct US122 channel as an input, the correct US122 channel as your output(if you want to monitor through cubase), arm record on the channel strip (the red button), hit record on the transport. Make sure that loop is off and your right and left locators are set up correctly. Thats it
