im using cubase 32 ver 5.0 but today it wont open, i get a message ' cubase has caused an error in cubase.exe' i tried reinstalling. any help appreciated

You might want to take this to www.cuabse.net and check in with the forum there. I have NO idea what might be causing this in your computer- there are so many variables.
I usually think about what other programs I have installed recently that might be causing a conflict and uninstall them. I also use "Windows Restore" if I have windows ME or higher. I would also uninstall the old cubase before reinstalling the fresh version.
