I'm using Opcode's SonicPort(audio USB device,) to record to my hard drive. It's basically recognized just like another sound card to Windoze and all programs, except Cubase. Cubase gives me three errors when I open it. One of them is(and I'm at work right now so I can't remember them all :) "There is no native audio engine available."

Does anybody know where in Cubase to set the audio stuff?

It's easy in Cakewalk because there is a menu that lets me select inputs and outputs.

Try adjusting the settings in:

start>programs>steinberg:

setup MME or..
Direct X setup

Also, within Cubase, check the tools, system section. Set it to Direct X.

Mess around with these settings, sorry I can't give specifics, but I'm sure it is related to this area.
