Cubase AI4 - Ready to Learn. Need Guidance

I got Cubase AI4 with my Yamaha MM8 a couple years back. I finally got the needed gear to work with this product. I'm ready to learn but don't know where to begin. Are there any good tutorials or topics (didn't see any) for absolute beginners. I'm very inexperienced with recording and all software. This is the very beginning for me. I would love some help getting started. YouTube didn't seem to have a lot out there; most of it was very task specific. I believe there's all kinds of start-up configurations necessary and I don't know what to do there either. I'm very eager to get started, which spares me from feeling like a complete dummy for this post! Any advice would be appreciated.
 
Thank you. I have found a couple YouTube videos; many are for other versions and have some helpful aspects. The problem I'm finding is that there are differences where, for example, my version does not have some of the functionality as seen on turorials online.

Has anyone configured AI4? I'm having an issue there. I use it with the M-Audio FTP. I can't record. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I believe it's in the intitial configuration. I having AI4 point to the M-Audio driver in the device manager, but I get a ring sound whenever AI4 is open. I'm doing my best with the manual, but of course, it's very general as it applies to the interface/sound card.
