I'm using Cubase 5 with my SBLive and using soundfonts. My problem is keeping the soundfont from reverting to GM. I can assign a SF to a track and it's fine while playing through the sequence, although when I stop and rewind (Ins & Ins again), it gives me GM. This is particularly a hassle for recording midi to audio when I get GM piano1 playing a drum sequence. I hope someone has some ideas, I have a fairly large project to do and this is slowing me down.
