You may or may not be aware of CSMD (Computerised Sound Mixing Desk). It is a piece of software designed for mixing together audio either live or for recording to disk. It was originally written for Drama groups, but has many different applications. Although it is not designed for recording live input it is ideal for mixing together MP3, Wav and other sound formats. The basic idea behind it is that it can act as a replacement for 2 CD decks and a Mixing desk and means you can mix your sfx or music on the go.
