I am getting back into home recording after many years away...I have a modern Pc running Xp, it is solely used for running Logic hit kit (all i can afford)and "audacity".
I have a cs1x, attached via "to host" with the correct drivers.I use the CS to midi the other keyboards etc. Whenever I press the arpeggiator button on the CS1x Logic stops responding, the transport buttons still respond and the screen still scrolls..but nothing works.
When logic is closed (the only way out of the problem) it hangs and eventually a "not responding" message is displayed.When logic is restarted all is fine again.
I am also getting frequent "error synchronising audio to midi" messages from logic.
Can anyone help? Last time i was into home recording I was using a P100 connected to a cs1x in the same way, and never had any problems!
I suspect a conflict between logic hit kit and the to host driver, but have no idea how to fix the problems.
