CrO2 recording

I have some newbie questions, if I record a Cro2 tape in the Cro2 position can I play it back on my car deck(clarion) that doesn't have the CrO2 option and get good playback. Or should I just use normal bias tapes for my car deck? In others words, Do Cro2 tapes either home recorded or pre-recorded need the CrO2 bias setting to get the best playback? thanks

i'm fairly sure you should record on the cr02 setting, and playback shoudld be normal on any tape player.
