It has potential, you (i presume its yours )got a good voice , the guy CAN play ...

but you really need to invest in some better equipment that would do your voice and guitar playing some more
honour (and im not talking big bucks just a decent audio card and mic for starters )...

next time when you want to bring soe more dynamics in a song add some electric guitar instead of going balistic on acoustic :)

hang out on the forum coz it appears you got a lot to learn about audio recording .. and thats not an insult ...

Where's a-super-critic when you 'need' him?

lol.. just kidding.

Sounds like something the kids like and thats probably what you are going for. I assume these are going to be rocked up in band form. I frankly admit I don't like this whole genre of songwriting so take this with a grain of salt. To me it sounds like everyone is pissed off for no good reason and there is very little interest in harmony and chord development. Honestly, I'm probably too old to get it, but you asked.

Nice guitar parts though. Its a shame they couldn't work into something really special, instead of petering out once the song gets going. Where do those intriguing opening chords take us? A lot of tension and release, the foundation of most music and all good rock music, can be achieved in the shifting of keys, the movement of chords and the building of harmony, not just from playing soft and then playing loud. A lot of people got the wrong idea from Stairway to Heaven and its influence has yet to die.

I hope I'm not coming off like SC!

I re-recorded it for em :) See if it sounds better NOW.... heh..

I just went post hunting since I saw him posting on the song of his I posted last night, and found this.

You guys are too brutal sometimes.

haha brutal wasnt that word!!!

lol but its cool. those 2 songs we actually want to record later on with a full band. then we have an acoustic track we wanna lay down as well.

Good job!

I like the the guitar sound. The song reminds me of Pearl Jam or somebody Northwestish.
Good Job, I like it.
Keep it coming, man
