The song is called, "Wake Me." This is the second of what I assume will be many mixes. Can you give it a listen and tell me what irks you?

at a first glance of the ear...
way too much in the cymbal department. drowns out the rest of the music in parts. the cool guitar riffs need to be a little more prominent in areas. vocals are nice, but need to be lowered a bit, maybe. timing is off occasionally. the guitar sounds as if it is a little ahead of the beat in the beginning. either that or the drums are dragging.
I don't quite know what is going on in the cut-time area in the beginning. nice idea for a cut-time transition, but i would clean up the drum area. at first it sounds a cluttered. mostly that ride.
cool solo. i'd like to hear a cleaned up version of the song.

Thanks. I think the drums are dragging because of latency with a plugin - I noticed it at first but I wasn't sure if it was just my ears messing with me. I'll see what I can do.
