Sounds good to me. I think the vocal should be on top a bit more...and it sounds a little alien among the song...like it isn't sharing the same space or something. Anyway the song sounds good...the vocal isn't selling it though

I think you're correct :D

Cheers Allen :)

Feels like the life gets sucked out of the mix when the distorted guitar(s) come in. The mix gets this over compressed feel to it. Not sure I like the dubbled vocal parts, they sound a bit out of place but that's just me. The high falsetto vocal part is too far back.

Very cool. A tight performance and everything is quite clear.

The quieter sections are just so clean and mellow that it maybe lacks a little of the grit or edge of the original (haven't heard this in a while though). The chorus on the clean guitar contributes to this I think. Not a big chorus fan myself and would prefer a more starightforward guitar sound...purely subjective though.

Having said that, when the distorted guitars come in it is a nice contrast and those sections work better for me.

I thought the vocals were good. The volume seemed to fluctuate a bit too much from one section to the other though and sound-wise, they seem like they're floating above the band...could come down a bit at least in places. I dunno - just some ideas...

You absolutely nailed the loud Ka-chunk guitar sounds that preceed the chorus. I was hoping you'd include that bit and it sounded way cool. Very nice job. :)

I thought it sounded real cool, thought the heavy guitars could be a little wider in the mix...seem kind narrow on my phones....thought the vocals were done well and pretty true to the original....good cover, I dug it

Something sounds weird about it. I think the clean guitars almost sound fake. It's the kind of song that you don't really need to cover unless you're a cover band with paying gigs.

I couldn't really sit through the whole thing just because it doesn't sound like you guys made it your own song. I might as well sit thought the original and even then it's not my type of music so I would turn it off anyway lol :spank:

Cool, I liked it Phildude, only thing that stood out a wee bit for me was kinda like what Simman said, when that distorted guitar comes in something just doesn't sit right, maybe just a wee bit too much 10. :D

Other than that sounded good to me.

That's so weird!!!! I'm covering too with a couple of my friends.

It's a very good version, Phil.
I thought the recording was spot-on, nice job!

Joey :):):):)
