If you are a beginner then learn the right way. Forget these mini sized keys and get something with full size keys and prefferably at least 4 octaves (I personally would prefer 5)
Obviously I agree with this note.
Even 5 octaves create anxious sense of playing, but that be just me.
For a beginner, real size is necessity and 5 is the number from one should not path under.
But someone could accuse us for forcing piano man / synth style as necessity for everyone.
Truth be told ... although fiddling with prodikeys mini sexy keys strikes me as sad trip, there are many people who actually like this sort of things and I was amazed in what unimaginable setups people created incredible results.
After all, that is the most important.
I have just tried
Prodikeys DM (Europe)
I have to say in certain times I could imagine using the same
As 8-bit generation if someone told me I would ever walk in state of technological saturation, most likely I would consider him mad. Sadly in this dreadful times of raw consuming mentality that shapes our lives. All these years I've collected sample libraries from all sorts of machines... from MO, HD ...optical ... back to HD nowadays. And recently choosing the right sounds and even idea of browsing for the same, makes me tired. How many times we would like to just play something but we voyage away because idea of turning all of the gear arsenal somehow appears more a burden than joy itself.
Surely I'm not the only one who fells like this at times
So being in situation where one either has no time to play or simply uplifted with desire to use something for scratch pad, Prodikeys is not so terrible after all.
I developed a sense that something is missing if there is no instrument around me, so idea that midi keyboard is always at my disposal within reach of PC keyboard is very comforting to say least , even considering all limitations of Prodikeys compared to real size keys
Have you noticed how shy is Creative when actually avoids to describe the actual size of the Prodi keys? It is certainly sale safer not to mention that those are not the real size keys.
Anyway just wanted to ask any owners out there, what about this 2002 (and later with revision or two) version?
>>> white~prodi <<<
Here in EU only the
DM Prodi is available, and from some reason this white baby appeals more visually to my sight. Anyone had chance to play both and tell us the difference?
