Creating differn't takes

When I record another take on the same track and right click on it, it has a "to front" menu which I can choose what take gets played back. In the manual it says it should say the take number then where. For example take 1 (audio o1). But when I try it doesn't say the take number just audio 1 or whatever. Do you know why it does that? I notice the examples in the manual are with a Mac and not a PC. Does this have anything to do with it?

It will normally say something like 'Audio01_01'. The numbers after the underscores are your take number.

I think (and I may be wrong here but I'm pretty sure its what it did last time), if you have a section of your tune on cycle and record, it will keep recording, cycling over and over, everytime you start a new cycle it will create a new take. This is where you see "Take 1" "Take 2" etc written on your audio file.

thank you for clearing that up. Although when its in cycle mode that's when it has the numbers after the unerscore. It never actually says take. But oh well. At least now I know what those numbers after the _ mean.
