creating CDs - too many options

I'm making a CD to play outside for a horse ride. Only one 5:30 song will be on the entire disk.

I use Sony Sound Forge to edit it and can create a .wav or a .mp3 file

What settings should I use? 48,000 MHZ? or 44,100

What is transparent Audio? Unicode?

16 bit? 24 bit?

128 kbps? 256 kbps? 320 kpbs?

Thanks for helping since I have to have this by tomorrow. I'm all done with editing, it's just saving to burn the CD that has me stuck!

You only have one choice for an Audio CD if you are going to playback from a CD player:

16bit/44.1kHz
