How and where do I re-install the Delta 1010 drivers? I asked when I first got this thing and someone hooked me right up, cant find it now.
Gonna post this and describe the craziness that just happened in a minute in case I get booted off line. I need some quick answers in case I cant get back on for 3 hours.

Ok, here is what happened... very odd...
I started it up, opened Sonar and recorded a rough idea I had. I noticed I was having trouble with my RNP gain switch right off the bat. Hopefully it didnt fry my soundcard.
Anyway, after I recorded a track, I went back to listen and was getting no audio, but a tad bit of noise. I went into Delta control panel to take alook, and the output meter was slamming liike crazy up and down, and it was just acting crazy. All inputs started slamming like they had input, only one did and it was turned off.
So, I shut down sonar and restart it, and its doing the same thing.
I shut down computer and restart it, and I notice I dont get my little startup sounds from the beggining. I try to open the Delta panel and it says "hardware not found".
I open Sonar and it lists no audio ins/outs for Delta.
It appears my drivers are just gone. No sign of them anywhere whatsoever.
Anyone ever had this problem? Very strange indeed, never just lost a driver completely.
What happened? Someone tell me where to reinstall the driver and how to do it, I already tried and cant get it right. Scary.
Peace.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like a hardware problem.

Does the Delta show up at all? Under unknown devices or anywhere? If the device doesn't show up in device manager, it's pretty hard to install a driver. You could run the hardware wizard from the control panel, but I doubt that'll help.

Reset the delta card, and make sure you screw it into the case well. The card could have simply unseated, which at best means you just push it back in, and at worst means that it got fried.

At any rate, new drivers can be found at m-audio.com , but like I said, you've got to have a working device before you can install the drivers.

I did run the hardware wizard, reinstalled it that way, ran the drivers in again, and its like nothing ever happened as far as I can tell.
Rather weird. Ever just had it disappear? Scared the hell out of me. I have a trackng session 1st weekend of December, 12 hours a day, so I hope it was an isolated incident.

No that's not normal for any card. Double check that it's seated properly and screwed in tight. Make sure the cable doesn't have too much tension on it.
