[Sonic Misfit]

I have been studying this piece of gear and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it. Supposedly it will add tube sound to digital recording. It is pricey, but if it does what it is supposed to do, it will go on the wishlist.

I was kind of wondering whether or not it did anything different or better thant the Empirical Labs Distressor. As I understand, the Distressor emulates tape saturation. I am seriously considering the distressor as m next major aquisition upon receipt of the necessary funds.
