In what universe is Cranberries alt rock?
Light girlie vocal over heavy drums is pretty mainstream these days.
The bass is mostly just a low rumble - no definition until the quiet section.
The vocals are adequate but there's no emotion transmitted.
When she gets to the end of phrases she begins to drop volume & register and disappears a bit.
The guitars need some meat.
The hard panned toms become a bit distracting and they have more thump than the kick drum.
Sounds like it's a pretty good song in there.

I agree with some of what rayc said. First though let me say I like the tune and the lyrics. I think the bass is lost in the mix and the vocals could use a little more "oompf". I think it could use some more mixing to even out the instruments and I personally don't think the reverb placed on the vocals works for this tune (not so much with the "angst driven" nature of the tune.
All just the opinions of a music lover, but total noob at recording and mixing myself. Take it for what it's worth. Can't wait to hear the next version!
