Ive recently purchased a Crafter PK Rose 34 anniversary edition guitar
as I needed a better unit for live gigs and it sounded great to me . the price was reasonable and the constuction flawless to my eyes
bookmatch rosewood back and sides, engleman spruce top wicked abalone inlay around soundhole , body perimeter and fret board , dovetail set neck ,smooth machine heads though i see no brand name stamping and they dont specify the make on the web site either. LR Baggs electronics Its a grand auditorium cutaway style and an obvious ripoff of a Taylor in looks but the price was a third so I am ecstatic with it
I wonder if anyone has had any issues with crafters ie warrenty issues etc..
Im so pleased with it that Im hoping not but forewarned is forearmed
Tks

Hi Pete

I have just ordered a Crafter Je 24 , I tried the smaller version in the guitar shop as they did'nt have any jumbo size in stock but they tell me it will be in on Wednsday but I was well pleaseed with the sound quality.

I have read one or two reviews and I am so glad you like yours.

Just last week I brought a Tanglewood from the same shop which was a used one. ( I was a bit silly as i brought it 5 mins before the shop was closing, so I did'nt have time to play around with it)

I already have a Tanglewood with a Shadow pick up which I love but I thought I'd try a new tanglewood with the BBand pick up.

I must say that with this particular newer Tanglewood that I got , I was well disappointed . Infact my older tanglewood which is a Jumbo sounded much better.

I found this strange as I would have thought that the BBand pick up would have sounded better then the shadow slide pick ups.

So I took it back and they have gave me a credit note which I will put towards my crafter.

How do you find Baggs pick ups?

Dave :)
