I bought a UA-5 a few months back. I was trying to get into computer recording using my laptops USB port. Too many issues for me. The main thing though is the small cracks and pops I'll hear. They are not always in the recordings but it's hard to tell without replaying the section to see if it was recorded or just during playback.
I use a IBM T22 900mhz P3 with 256mb running XP. I'm using the latest drivers off the Edriol website. Edirol has given me some help but not enough I guess. Just wondering if any of you guys can help?
My computer just seems to be determined to have problems with USB audio and midi. Thanks.
