I'm using a Palamino V32 amp and when I play the amp for a while and have the reverb on I get a crackling noise. Its not a hum, but more of a crackle. If I turn it off then on again it stops for a while. Any ideas of what it is? I know basically no mechanics of what goes on inside the amp.

Get yourself a can of contact cleaner.
Then, get out your vacuum cleaner (preferably a "shop-vac") and suck out all the dust you can from all inputs, outputs, dials and switches. After you've sucked out all the dust the best you can, spray the contact cleaner into those same inupts, outputs, switches and dials and let it dry for 10 minutes.
That should do it.
