I know this was done way back when and I missed it as I didn't have any place to post a tune. It just sounded like fun so I did one. It's by Mountain, "Nantucket Sleigh Ride". I did all the instruments and vocal and I must say I am one lame drummer. Feel free to not only comment but post any cover tune as well. What the hell, it's just for shits and grins.:D

Track,

Very cool. I never heard the original, but this ones cool. I listened to "Back at You" also, and that was also a good tune.

Nice Job!

P.S. Your drumming seemed like it worked just fine for this....

I thank you. Charva, the Bari-saxes are out of an Alesis QS-8.

Gentlemen (and Ladies too), how about you? Post your old Beatles cover. Or better yet, an obscure ancient cult band (like Mountain:D ) to stump the youngsters. Post! I wanna make me a CD out of 'em.

Track Rat,

If you don't mind my asking, what type of synth did you use,and how did you record it?
I really love that sound!

Even though you "can't dance to it", I give it a TEN! :)

Nice work, bro

jgourd, Honky Tonk Women and Hurdy Gurdy Man were VERY cool. On the other hand, Hoochie Coochie Man kicked major ass. And a live performance too. Now this is what I had in mind. MOre

Great work,

You really nailed the tone, of keys and lead guitar, scarry!!

Mountain was awesome, nice tribute.

Did this one take a lot of work?

Not really. I'd heard the tune all my adult life so it was kind of embedded, you know what I mean? One evening, a six pack of Guiness, a few Scooby snacks to imbibe and there it was. Shit, it was almost like therapy, I had such a good time doing it I might have to do the DaveMania thing and do some more.
