Huh? My experience is that Germans tend to be no more kinky than the average american. Course if you go by my standards, there are very few really kinky people out there.

You know I forgot about the word kink to describe sexual deviance. It's nice and dated...I like it.

When we first got married people would ask why we got married so quick (we dated about a month) and I'd tell them "You know they call them Russian Brides, but there are all sorts these days" I had to cut that out quickly because people took me seriously. They also believed when I told them we rushed into marriage because she didn't believe in premarital monkeying around. Got in a lot of trouble with the owner of the local scooter shop when he found out I was joking two years later. That guy was a douche anyway though

It's OK Reklus - it was an intentional double entendre as well as an attempt at a musical pun with the old Germ. anthem & Jello Biafra rewrite ( California Ubber Alles). Quite obviously I missed the mark.
It's a bummer that people couldn't accept a quick courtship, even worse that they could accept a quick quip about it.

During the war it read "Deutschland, Deutschland, ueber alles" (don't think I need to translate that!) which was changed afterwards to "Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit" which translates to Unity, Justice and Freedom (such noble thoughts....) The original line remains prohibited to this day.

As for being kinky, I really don't know, we've been married 15 years now.....
