I've been working on the singing for about 3 years now. It's really nice to hear complements on that. Singing is a bitch but I kinda like it. Been playing guit and bass for 24yrs. Drums for about 6 months. I used the audix fusion mic kit on the drums. Not the best mics and the drums kinda blow too. I attribute what sound I do get from new heads, best tuning I can get from crappy drums, and all the techniques for micing drums that I learned from here. I love this place. Hold me.

yes i couldnt agree more singing is one of the hardest things i have ever tryed. as far as the drums go they realy do sound great. i would be happy with that sound tottaly. i just use midi drums and add sound fonts to them. its a pain for me to program them but im learning i think? lol anyway nice song and you earned the credit on the vox you realy did. god bless.

I'll take that advice to the bank. Playin drums is pretty tuff. I've been concentrating on meter and dynamics mostly. That's because alot of the drummers I've played with have neither and I can't stand it.

Aaaah.... a drummer after my own heart... You got the right idea... this was really solid drumming for a newbie... I would say you're on the right track. You're right, too... most new "drummers" are more interested in hitting every cymbal and tom simultaneously, then they are concerned aboot actually keeping the freaking beat... And dynamics will make the difference between being a great drummer, and being a drummer who thinks he's great...
