1. The batteries on the memory cards only last two years.. they are lithium and can be purchased anywhere..
2. Removing the battery will clear the card's memory, so don't change the batteries unless you have your tracks loaded into the machine..
As a result of neglecting the first rule and stupidly breaking the second one I lost not only all of the drum tracks I had been working on the past 6 months but also all of the customized parameters I had worked so hard on the year before..
