Hi,
I'm doing an exam on ProTools tomorrow at the SAE (School for Audio Engineering) where I'm studying at the moment.
There's a few little things I'm not sure on so here goes;
-How can I put one plugin on multiple tracks?
-On the Procontrol, how do I get into surround mix mode?

That's pretty much all. Hope anyone can help me out here.

Thanks

when you drag the plugin holding Alt (that's on PC, don't know about Mac) it copies the plugin to the track you drag it to. Don't know about the Pro Control, I only worked with Pro Control once and the studio didn't have surround mode.

Feel free to ask on our pro tools forum (check my signature), maybe others can help you there.

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah I will be using Mac so that will probably translate to Apple+Alt or something.

I will check out the mentioned forum.

Thanks again.

Ah, I see your from the Netherlands. How is SAE there? I heared different opinions.

I don't know how it is compared to other schools around the world, but the one I'm at is nothing special.
There are 2 locations here, one in Amsterdam, the other in Rotterdam. The latter is where I study at.
It is extremely small, not much studio facilities but quite alot of students, which means not much studio for each student.
Theory classes are ok, I guess, although quite non-professional at times regarding the lecturers knowledge.

I studied Producer course in Ghent, belgium. There were lots of troubles there the first years, but now things seem to find their way their, and the course is getting better and better.

SAE is pretty expensive though, so they should give you good accomodation for that money.
