Could someone tell me what chipset this card is...

Well, I just installed ver. 3.73, which I downloaded from their site just a few moments ago.

If you click once on the "tv with a rainbow through it" icon that is in your systray, a menu pop's up. From there, the very top menu item is "Adapter Information".
 
Ahh, got it. Cool. I was using an outdated version.dohh.. I increased the latency for the FW card and decreased latency for my AGP card. that's fine right?

It is fine if it works!

You might just try lowering the AGP card time first before resorting to increasing the time on the FW card. It is my understanding that giving devices too much time that they don't need on the buss can be problematic too!
