Could someone please help me

I bought my cubase SL3 to do both midi and audio,and i allmost got it down,but i still cant get this last thing right.
I have a roland xp-30,and i want to play it midi,through instrument definitions,but i cant figure out how to use it.I got both (xls and notebook) files,but i cant figure out where to put them.The notes say to put them in a scripts folder,but i dont have this folder in my SL3 ,and i tried to create it but i cant get a grip on the whole thing.

It worked fine in my Home Studio(cakewalk),but with cubase i dont have a clue where to start

Can someone tell me step by step how to get this thing to work?after all, this is the only reason i bought Cubase,to bring my audio and midi together but it seems like i cant get this last but most important thing down.

BTW i searched EVERYWHERE,no hope.

Thats because midi devices are only supported in SX. You really do not need the XML (the format cubase uses) script to use the XP-30 as a midi device, just plug it in directly to any midi port and just use the midi editor to add CC changes if thats what you are looking to do

Can you elaborate on that? I'm not quite sure exactly what you mean
