First you have to be good. Once you are good, then you can probably get some work and maybe even stay busy. But - "making a living" is a term I would use loosely.

Agreed, Dougie J. Unless you're "in the know" with people you have no hopes unless you're with a good group. And you had better be very good. I have been through 5 drummers in 2 years and they all THOUGHT they were good.
