Could a studio be built in my living room that could be taken apart when I Move?

I am renting right now, and plan on moving in 1-2 years when my wife graduates. I would like a drum, vocal, guitar setup. Neighbors aren't much of a prob, and winters here a long so windows will be closed and snow will insulate at least two feet high for 6 months. It would be nice to be able to take it apart and re-use the structure.

Sure. Why not?

Don't build a "structure." Get a desk, a rack, and build some DIY acoustic treatment. It'll all go with you when you move.

Absolutely. Even though I have a dedicated studio and sound room, the bulk of the actual gear and console is free standing and in roll around racks. I could disconnect the snakes and pack it up if I had to.

Sure, why not? A few baffels, absorbers, bass traps. No worse than moving a bed. Desk, you'd probably take it anyway. Instruments and computer, surely you wouldn't leave those behind. Just hope that when you move, the new place has a decent room to set it all back up in.
