Hi, im currently recording a few songs with my band at home, ive tried recording the guitar parts with a digitech rp 250 pedal through its usb connection to my computer, but i dont like the sound of the modelled amps.
my current setup for live playing is a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL head with a 1960 lead marshall cabinet, tube screamer ts9 overdrive pedal and boss noise suppressor. Ive tried putting a mic in different positions around the cabinet and different volume levels, but the resonance of the room its in makes the sound less than good quality. I was wondering how i could safely connect the amp head for direct recording on my computer, i dont want to experiment because mismatched impedance can badly damage the head. any ideas? thanks
