I need help with a blues tune I'm writing:

"I Told You Sew"

Sally the seamstress you done gone too far
Now all I got left is this old blues guitar

While I was out mowin' You was out hoin'
Girl don't you know that you should have been sewin'

I told you sew, I told you sew. S.E.W., I told you sew

Girl don't you know that you done me wrong

Sally the seamstress needle me no more
You sewed me up and now I'm so sore

You got me a twitchin', Too big for your britches
Girl don't you know that you should have been stichin'

I told you sew......

Kind of raw & corny but goes good with the music.

thanks,

cj

Hi Cj,
I like the blues big time...
One thing about the blues is that you can write a song for just about any sad situation or "done me wrong" scenario....

12 bars...3 chords...a lot of emotion...

I like the lyric as is...
Don't go changin' a thing...

Would like to hear it some time..
You should record it...ya know?:)

Just got an idea for a change:

You got me a twitchin', tired of all that bitchin'
Girl don't you know that you should have been stitchin'

Oh well, always works in progress those songs of mine.
