Copyright and Trademark of names and works

Does anybody here have experience with this? I was looking to trademark a couple projects I have that I started up. Also if it's not too expensive, copyright the songs(recordings). Any advice from people that have done this?

Now hold the phone. Do you mean one could simply do the following:

Go into Marketting Your Music
Click "search this forum"
Type in "copyright"
Switch to Title-Only Search

Trademarking is pretty expensive, I think. Just FYI.

Trademarking will range anywhere from $600-$1000ish. Copyrights cost $40. You could either choose to send in a whole CD, and copyright the whole deal for $40, or individual tracks. The problem is if someone wants to use one of your tracks, you will need to copyright that single tracks, which should be done.
