I usually make 8 bar instrumental loops, I may do some panning automation or volume automation. Now i want to copy and paste till the track is like 4 min of consecutive 8 bar loops... my problem is the envelopes are never copied to the other copied tracks..y?

TIA

Copy and past all your loops together, then go to Edit. > Bounce to Clips. And that will make all the lil clips one long single clip. After you have done that then put in your different envelopes. Thats just a suggestion but it seems to work for me.
Good luck

I would:

1) Select the 8 bars and select Edit -> Bounce to clips (like gamut1).
2) Rightclick on the new clip and select Envelopes -> Clip -> And whatever...

Also envelopes (not just clip-envelopes) should be copied when you tell them to, but I've found that most envelopes just copy when the start and and end of the envelope in one clip are the same....

You could re-record the clips as new tracks with the envelope's effect intact, then do the copies. I don't know if this would be faster or not. I use this method to render fades for my two track masters.
In my set up, I have to patch the orginal track digi-out and back in to the new track. A software patch would be even more convenient (if I could find one).
