Copy tracks from VS1680

Hi All,

I am going to be working on a project for a group that has some tracks recorded on a VS1680. I'm not familiar with the board at all, so I was hoping someone could answer a quick question for me. Is there any way to easily grab the tracks from a song as files and copy them onto a computer? Specifically, I'm looking to import the tracks into Logic on a PowerMac G5.

The G5 has a Tascam FW-1884 attached to it with digital inputs, so this may also be a possibility. But it would be so much nicer to just be able to copy audio files, if this is possible.

I appreciate any info anyone can offer.

No dice. Digital output, recorded into a DAW, two tracks at a time is pretty much your only option.

Try vsplanet.com, but I don't think there is a more efficient way.
 
Find some one with an VS-2000 they can open the VS-1680 files and transfer them to .wav files. I own an VS-2000 if u send me the VS-1680 file(they must have an cd or zip drive in order to save the file so i can receive it.) i can transfer it to .wavs for you. PM for more info.
