Is it possible to copy and paste across pgms on the vf80?

Say I have pgm1 with tracks 1/2 recorded from position 0 to 10. And pgm2 with tracks 1/2 recorded from position 0 to 10.

Is there a way to get pgm1 tracks 1/2 onto pgm3 tracks 1/2 from 0 to 10 AND pgm2 tracks 1/2 onto pgm3 tracks 1/2 from 15-25?

Thanks for any help.

short answer...

The short answer, I believe, is you cannot copy/paste across programs on the VF80. What you can do is save onto a CD, then reload onto a new program...

I think you are right. I spent a lomng time going through the manual and trying different things. No way to get data from multiple pgms onto a new pgm.

When you load a saved pgm and/or any other source such as .wav or audio cd, the VF80 seems to always make a new pgm. And if you try to load it to an existing pgm, it will over write what ever was already there. Seems the best best is to plan in advance and record on to the same pgm.

Thanks for the response.
