I record on my Alesis HD24 in 48/24. I mix on my computer in the same form.
Howover, when accepting tracks from the band mambers, they send them to me in 44/16.
OK, no problem, I first conver to 44/24, then to 48/24.
However, I've noticed that when mixing, when I lower volume on a track, it's fine until -16, then it drops off to almost silence, until -24. Then its too quiet.
Is there a way to convert without this hole?
