How do I turn songs from a CD into WAV files? I did this a long time ago, but can't remember how it was done?

Anybody have advice for me?

Exact Audio Copy will do the trick. The program is all you need to make .WAV files out of CD tracks. (If you wanted to make MP3s, you would need an MP3 encoder which is not included, but that's beside the point).

You're welcome. By the way, I'll give you a very quick rundown on how to make the .WAV files. It's very simple.

You'll see a list of the CD's tracks. Right click on the songs you want to copy, select Copy Selected Tracks, click Uncompressed..., then click Save and it'll do the rest. Have fun.

Easy CD - DA extractor will rip a cd to MP3 at varying/selectable quality levels or wave or a few others.
It'll also convert different files from one to the other.
Lots of software can/will do these things.
