Is there any method used to convert audio to midi. I am aware that this might be a remote possibility.Does anyone remember a french company who produced a mike that would convert analogue to midi.

Secondly I'd like to record with two midi keyboards. In other two persons playing together. What do I need to record 2 midi sources simultaneously.

I am using the Guillemot ISIS.

thanks

Cakewalk Pro Audio let's you create a midi track from an audio clip, but it can't be polyphonic (i.e. more than one note at a time). This technique is generally unreliable at best, you'd probably be better off finding somebody who can play well by ear . :)

As far as using two keyboards, set them to send on different midi channels. You'll need a midi merger box to take the midi outputs from both keyboards and merge them into one output. From there, you should be able to use any midi sequencer to record, which ever one you choose will probably have instructions on how to proceed from there.
