Is it possible to do this? In my haste to get a drum track done, I exported it as a WAV file without saving the MIDI to work on later, so all of the work I did is in a single WAV file. I can pull it back up in Reaper, but is there a way to change it back to MIDI to edit it some more?

There's probably some external software that will do it (i.e. some kind of Melodyne equivalent for drums), but it's probably very expensive.

never seen anything that will do that, unless you use some convoluted process that will trigger a MIDI device using the WAV sounds........Yup, V E R Y expensive!

You are not using EZ Drummer?

Yeah, I'm using EZ Drummer, but the WAV file was an entire song I did...drums, bass, 3 guitar tracks...no biggie though, it was just kind of a rough demo for me to play around with my DAW and Tascam and get used to what I could do. I gotta re-do the whole thing anyway when I get ready to do the "real" version of it.

If you are using EZD then you will always have the MIDI track saved as part of your song file, shouldn't be anything that causes your drum's MIDI track to disappear.

Yeah, I went ahead and re-did the drums anyway because I got a couple more expansions with more beats, fills, options, etc. Btw, the Nashville expansion is awesome for rock if the metal expansions are a bit too over-the-top!

Yup, love mixing and matching like that. I like using the vintage rock kits with the jazz patterns.

I like the classics kits with any of the grooves...i just hate that they call them grooves.
