Control!?!

I'm getting the digi 002 rack, and would like to know a good control surface to use with it. I would just get the regular 002 but i don't have enough money
so would anybody know a good alternative to the reg. 002. thank you in advance.

go to sweetwater.com and search for "control surface". you'll get a bunch of information on them. a few to look at:
Tascam US-224/US-428
JL Cooper CS-32
Mackie Control Universal
Digi's Command 8 (which is probably too expensive for you still, though)

The Mackie Control Universal would be a good buy as Benny said. The great thing about it is that it can be used with all sorts of software, not just protools... so if for some reason you decided that you want to mix using different software, you can. Also keep in mind that a huge number of people don't use a control surface... make sure that you buy everything else you need before you buy a control surface. Some poeple skimp on mics and cables so they can get stuff they don't really need.
