I recently switched from an Audiophile 2496 to an Echo Mia.

Problem is I still have the Maudio icon in the control panel and in the tray. I can run the Mia fine but when I restart the computer the Mia console disapears and the Maudio comes back.

Im not sure if the M audio is fully uninstalled or what.

When I click on the tray icon, is states there is no Maudio hardware active, but why is it still there?

How can I get rid of this...?

click on it and press delete? the hardware maybe gone but are the drivers?

Theres no option to delete it in both control panel and the tray.

Im still looking for drivers but cant find any...

Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware tab > Device Manager ...
Now, chances are, your driver is under "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers" (that's where my Delta 44 is), so, find your Audiphile in the list, double-click it, click the "Driver" tab, and click "Uninstall Driver".

That should do it!
