Contagious!!

It's movin' a little bit. I'm workin' on finishing up the last two beats for the album so I can make an instrumental CD and see if I'll like the flow of the CD or if I need to change the order.

I have some songs recorded but I want them re-recorded since I'm workin' with a little more equipment.
 
I'm trying to think of which songs to record this weekend if I get a minute. I'm gonna write a verse to Hittin' Corners (ok so I went with the change) and figure out a hook that would work with it. I might work with Like My Style (I don't know about everyone else's thoughts, but in my opinion, that beat is off the chain!!!!)

I'm also thinking about messin' with March because I have to get my thoughts on Bush in there while they're still hot.

Once Carter gets his vocals to me on Role Model, I'll mix it down and release it on soundclick.
 
That's what I'm hopin' for. I was disappointed the last time I recorded a CD in 2001, but all I did was rap (and my lyrics were only sub par, I'll admit that). Now that I'm doing all the work on my own and my lyrics have stepped up to the plate, it should be a lot better. One of these days, I might upload some of the old songs on soundclick just for shits.

Did you ever get that mic? Tha Ridin' Skinnies beat I'm messin' with right now is true Southern anthem shit. This one will most def. be a banger. I'm only halfway done with the beat and it's bangin' already.
 
Yoooo!! I just finished the Ridin' Skinnies beat. I told Jug I;d let him have a spot on it if he wanted it but I got another verse open. Check the track on soundclick (titled the same) and see if it amps the hell out ya frame.

The beat is on soundclick now. The song might be finished in a couple of weeks since I'm wanting 2 other people to drop verses.

Ridin' Skinnies with be up on soundclick probably in a few minutes (had to do some re-mixing on my vocals). Encoding the mp3 as we speak.
(Okay dammit, soundclick is down for about 10 minutes on song upload...hopefully)

The plan is to be working on Hittin' Corners next weekend, so if anybody wants on that, hit my PM.

Still waiting for all of the verses to come in for Role Model so I can get that mixed down and throw it up on soundclick.

Those will be my 3 featured tracks, so I'll drop those 3 and maybe a couple more on soundclick.

This weekend should be cool, I actually plan on calling out sick on Friday so my weekend will start early.........Holla!
 
the final cover

I posted 2 potential covers earlier. Seems everybody liked what I liked so I messed with that. I didn't like the idea of it looking too much like 9/11, especially with the bullshit going on now with Katrina and Rita (evil bitches) and for that reason right there, I decided against the other idea that would have involved me sneaking into a hospital to get pics of whatever would have fit. With that shit bein' said, I went for the city in flames, but toned it down...
