Connectivity Question

Hey,

This is my rig:

1. Tascam FW 1804 Firewire Interface
2. Focusrite ISA 428 Preamps (no digital out option) (this will be arriving soon and is the the source of my question)
3. JBL 4326 Monitors
4. Shure KSM 32 Mic
5. Kurzweil K-2500
6. Line 6 Pod XT Live
7. Fender 61 Strat Reissue
8. Martin Acoustic
9. MacBook w/OS X and Windows XP running Sonar 4

Here is my question: When I connect the ISA 428, I'm planning to take the analog outputs from it and run into the line inputs on the Tascam...that would be correct right?

If I had the digital outs on the ISA, then I'd run that into the ADAT on the Tascam, but as I just described is what I'm planning to do. I just want to verify that I should run the outs from the ISA into the Tascam...I don't know how else I would do it, but I still wanted to ask here.

Yes, you are correct.

It is incorrect to run one preamp into another which is what you would be doing if you somehow adapted the outputs of the Focusrite to the microphone inputs of the Tascam.
