I want to connect my Triton LE to my computer line in. There are two audio outputs on my triton(monoL and R) To get a stereo sound could I use a Y cable?(1/4" mono male to 2 - 1/4" mono male connections.)

A Y-cable will convert a stereo source into a mono source (2 inputs-->1 input). You can also connect the Left output of the Triton to the input on your computer. You will not get a stereo sound, but you can double and pan your tracks in your sequencer to spread the sound across the stereo spectrum.
Are you using the built in soundcard on your computer? If you are, the inputs are probably 1/8", in which case you'll need an adapter for the 1/4" cables. If you're using an external soundcard/interface (with at least two inputs), you can connect the Left and Right outputs of the Triton to the 2 inputs on the soundcard, and achieve a stereo sound that way.
Unless you're going to be working with sounds that pan a lot, stereo v. mono is not a big deal.

Good call sampler.
I've got an LE as well I ran each of the outs to seperate inputs on my Delta1010. To support what Sampler said, you need to be able to take each of the outputs to seperate tracks so that they can be panned in the final mix.
Nice keyboard btw although mine gets more time as a midi controller these days...sorry,...I digress.

thanks for the help. Yeah that 's what I figured I would do. Have a mono track and copy it and pan both tracks hard left and hard right. I have a Presonus Firebox so I don't need that adapter(although I do have a couple anyways). Another question especially for the other LE user. How do you program drums with it? Do you do it via MIDI in a midi sequencer like Cubase and do each part separately(kick,snare,hi hat,etc)? Then to convert it to audio you just plug the triton to the line in on your audio interface and make sure it's on the drum setting you want and just hit record?
